Watercolors
Brushed on the sky
Nature’s palette
Fan brush and wash

With foreground and background
Drawing shadows
Before me
As night nears

A thought of you
And times we shared
Under periwinkle, salmon, and
Oriole skies

Wondering if you see
What I see
Even when you look

Beyond the form, substance
To the luminance I feel
Whenever I stop and

Wish on a sunset
