this is the challenge, the role,
the calling in the gate
to be ready, to argue, to advocate
To fight for right, when you can
fight for their cause, your role
that the sky is cranberry, polka dot
a shimmering chartreuse
and bring precedent and law
to win the day, or the best you can
on that particular day
