Shaking the walls, the status quo
ordinary people, extraordinary feats
beyond their ken, their ability, miracles
power, authority, in the name of Christ
Healing, bringing other to the faith
large crowds, conversions, a groundswell,
a revolution, changing the world, their nation
the wall of history, the fate of the tribes
walls tumbling, the fire building
unable to stem the tide, to halt the witness
to change their minds, to still their voices
From their room, to the Temple, to the lands
the homes of the gentiles,
so would the message spreads,
until all will hear the good news
of Christ’s sacrifice, of God’s love
