Into the Temple, the authorities unable
their tongues would not be silenced
tongues of fire, or the spirit burning within them
their lives emboldened, their witness now unending
In his name they healed, by his authority they spoke
with his power their spread his life, the story
the truth of his death, the stain on the leaders
Standing in their midst, the temple burning,
brightly with their fire, witnesses of their healing
mouths open, with nothing to say
They would not be silenced, and so we are saved
