Speaking as he did, Christ spoke in the language in words that the poor, the simple, everyday people in words they could understand, reaching those open ready to hear his message, a world changed right side up
Lessons of bread, of water, of fig trees bearing fruit, stories of lost sheep, of prodigal sons, of the land, of seeds in different soils. Lessons in words they live.
Like the rich, the powerful, the elites, we may hear them as parables, lessons wrapped in a language we no longer know, within them, if we become humble, truths, a way to live out our lives as God would intend
