She spoke with power
a personal witness
challenging us
serving those in prison
coming to them, in prison
sharing the message of the Christ
his message of love, of forgiveness
of saving for all,
by God’s grace alone
Offering to them her presence
the hope in our faith
for his ministry was for the sinners
for the captives, to set them free
In her words a challenge,
for us to more fully
live out his ministry
to shine light into the dungeons
to set the prisoners free
