be for us the Body and Blood of Christ by Raymond A. Foss

Not his body, not his blood;
But as real as if that were so
as meaningful, as important
this moment sacred
a sharing, at the table of grace
kneeling, bowing at your table
to accept your offering
the physical reminders, symbols
your awesome gift
May we sense your presence
standing with us
watching over us
as we come to your table
in prayer in praise
