A reminder, in the words of the letter
words of grace made clear
while yet sinners, God showed us love
showering us with grace upon grace
acting unilaterally, giving us a gift
the sacrifice, taking on the mantle of our shame
dying for us, regardless of our response
dying so that we may live
even if we never make the choice
to repent and return to him
while still in the far off country
the Father opened the way,
his arms opened wide for us all.
