From the garden
the good earth, the creation
a vine rising, growing
I am but a branch,
living, abiding, alive.
The vine gives life
purpose, growth
Bearing fruit
for those who would eat;
testimony and service
witness and action.
Abiding in the vine,
in the love of God
in God, as He is love
giving me life, abundantly.
