Gathering for a future as if the present is not good enough wanting more but ignoring what there is now His focus on the future, an illusion only gathering in, when he should give away His selfishness, self-centeredness, exposed ripped naked, when God came to his door Calling him to the threshold from this life to the next the book of life empty of his giving, kindness All he had stored up all merely gathered in ready for a future that never came to be
