In our waiting
in our time of preparing
we rejoice
in the return,
the coming of the Lord
Each Advent special
each different
feeling the presence of Christ
again in our midst
Remembering the story
the part each one had in it
the wise men, the women
of Joseph and Mary
of the shepherds and angels
calling them in the night
the joy, the obedience
the believe of these first ones
living the Advent story
come into life
