No room for them in the inn
a simple stable
a manger for a bed
Joseph, Mary and the baby
strangers in their homeland
The king coming,
born under the starlight
watched by the animals
the shepherds falling to their knees
a heavenly chorus
greeting the royal birth
Strangers, wise men with gifts for a king
only they knew of his worth
Strangers in the city of David
their ancestral home
the king born in the night
the family shivering in the cold
