Were they watching the shore
or were they watching his face
as he preached to the crowd
from the sea that day
did they understand his call

Casting nets into other seas
the land their waters now
fishing for men upon the shore
catching their hearts with his words

Leaving the sea, their way of life
all that they had known
going when the master called
walking away from family, their boats
leaving all behind
