While we are stewards
living in the garden
walking on this earth
upon this mortal coil

This is His creation
made by the one true God
bound by his imagination
by his word spoken into being
by his love sustained

We are to love the world
to rule and to govern
ever mindful of our place
only tenants of the land
of this, God’s creation
in our time here below
