the presidents
those who have guided our nation
prayers for their vision
when we have held true
to the beliefs we hold dear
lasting and vital
the rock we stand on

Standing up for the right
the principles we stand for
sharing the things we hold dear
a beacon of light to the world

Our current president also,
and those who will follow
that he and they may continue
standing for our nation
what we believe
projecting our strength
out into the world
our democracy, our love
