Gossamer Plans by Raymond A. Foss

Like webs with dew drops
glistening in the morning
invisible later
vanishing utterly
when the sun burns them away

So our gossamer plans
in the face of God’s will
Only God knows
whether we will see tomorrow

Better to live
as this is our last day
Sharing God’s love
to all that we meet today

Living faithful
giving God the credit
he alone is able
to see the number of our days
