Violating the rules
making the festival unholy
a trial on the Passover
in the night
the just tried in secret

The people asleep
evil stalking the room
false accusations flying
lies would not stick to him
inconsistent, biased

Judges of the people
with a vested interest
to stay in power at all cost
killing our savior
