Just as on that morning
the stone rolled away
Christ with us still
living now
as on that day

Our savior risen
in the present tense
walking with us
on this road of life

Gone before us
to prepare a place with him
yet walking with us
as we are yoked with him

Glory, hallelujah
and amen
Christ is risen
we are free, in him
victory over death!
