Christ in their presence
behind the locked door
returning in victory
to the upper room

Commissioning them
giving their lives a purpose
a direct calling of the Lord
to continue his master’s work

“I now send you”,
the holy spirit within you
the breath of God living
guiding your trembling hearts

Not alone, never
walking ever with the Christ
going as he was sent
spreading his message of love
