Using the firewood
not stored for another season
the fire burning now
not letting it die out

More to share
in each season
the words of hope
in the pages of the book

More purposefully perhaps
naming the objective
actively striving
walking on the way

Climbing my mountain
following my shepherd
leading others to him
in the words I have been gifted

Going onward
before some others
sending hope them
in the words I pour out
