As the sun set, the air heavy
a presence with me
in the silence of the chapel
the wooden benches, the pews
the rugged cross calling
entering into this place

The saints gathered round me
those who built this place
those who worshiped her
by his majesty, his grace
knowing this was holy ground
consecrated to you Lord
feeling them with me
whispering your praise
