We Gather Like Mary by Raymond A. Foss

So busy, our lives
needing your grounding
your living waters
your love, oh God

We gather like Mary
like children
sitting at your feet
needing to be fed

To hear your words
imprinting them
inscribed on our hearts
to guide our feet

Seeking your word
revealed in worship
this is our prayer
our hope to day
in you, oh Lord, alone.
