To Our Church Now by Raymond A. Foss

The message, the prophecy,
the words of Isaiah
not to some ancient people
speaking, resonant
to our church now

Speaking of community
of acting together
as a people
ready, awake
to the calling of God

Ready to do the work
as his servants
believing in him
and his calling
igniting our hearts
rethinking church
as the thing we are in life
