Raising Our Prayers Together by Raymond A. Foss

Our joys, our sorrows
all of these together
lifted up in the congregation
knowing sounds
as we come together
raising our prayers
in this community

Not alone, even when silent,
when the prayers are held
not given voice,
within our hearts alone
still together, love present
in the family in worship
sensing your grace.
