We must wake from our slumber
the light shining in the night
piercing the darkness
bringing us hope

God loves us
so much that he sent his son
living and dying
that we all may be one

One people, one body
Christ as the head
sharing the good news
going as we are led

Out into the world
carrying the light into the darkness
waking the world with the good news
Our savior has come!
