Gifts of joy and gladness
coming from above
washing over us
over us with love

The Creator coming
humbly to the earth
the Savior with us
at His blessed birth

We are the children
the ones who believe
ever singing
the joy that we feel

Sharing Christ
with all that we meet
even the strangers
needing to believe

Ours is a trust
a sacred work we share
to bring the love of Christ
the same cross that we bear

A flawed and misguided world
not willing to believe
when we should be bowing in praise
humbly, on our knees
