Sharing Radical Hospitality - Poem by Raymond A. Foss

A beacon of light shining
but not staying put
not anchored on the rock
motionless
going out into the world

Sharing radical hospitality
out where people live
shining the light into their darkness
the light the Savior can give

Hope for those in despair
love for those forgotten
justice for those in need
peace to the fighting

God will redeem us
in fact he already has
the love of God proven
the day in which He came

Down from heaven
coming to where we live
offering himself for our sin
going to the cross in our place

Dying that we may truly live
at the end of our earthly journey
rising that we may join him
living in glory, at peace evermore
