The Christ of Fire by Raymond A. Foss
The Christ of the judgment
coming in fire
the clouds his entry
back into the world

Not in suffering
but in power
coming to reclaim the world
to bring His children home

John 1:1-14
“This Sunday, I will continue in a sermon series,
“The Birth of Jesus Christ”, and we will look more closely
at the opening poem in the Gospel of John.
Matthew and Luke tell a beautiful story about the holy birth.
John uses poetry to highlight the meaning of Jesus’ life.
“Logos and Light” are the main ideas John uses in this poetry.
The Christ of Christmas is so much more than a cute baby.
The Christ is the image of God given to guide our lives and
to show us the most important truths for living.”
