Something about this world
my heart closed
walled off from my faith
not wanting to believe

Lost in the fog of this world
never really opening your book
never reading your words of love
Your call for my life

And You opened the door for me
to a world of grace, of hope
fulfilled, joy revealed
Your words coming alive

Leaving my past behind
turning to you
finding new life in your words
knowing they are true

Hearing the echoes of those days
when I first came from the fog
entering into your grace oh Lord
heeding your heavenly call
