Would it be really true
that the dominoes were falling
that we were witnessing
an end of the time of tyrants
that the world was seeing
experiencing in real-time
one of the greatest changes
in the history of mankind
that the people were rising
speaking together
throwing off the shackles
the chains of their days
that repressions was yielding
to the power of the people
that the world would never again
grovel at their feet
The tyrants toppled
sent into exile
running away
jubilation in the streets
that the people would dance
sing victorious
that peaceful revolution
was loose in the world
