By the choices we are making
standing by, complacent
cruel choices holding on
to the treasures of this world

They are carrying our burden
becoming our sacrifice
our hands upon them
not listening to their cries

The innocents, the needy
those who count on us
being given on the altar
of the things of this life

calling on the NH Legislature
and the Governor
to spare those without a voice
those who need us
from the severe budget cuts
that are currently planned
in HB1 and HB2, etc.
&
