The Human Sacrifice - Poem by Raymond A. Foss

Not a lamb
made a sacrifice
our sins upon its head
dying in our place

The human sacrifice
the person of Christ
choosing to die
to die in our place

Healing us, the breach
the failing of our lives
unable to be faithful
to follow God’s commands

Only the sacrifice
Christ’s giving of his life
redeeming of from death
giving us new life

Cuts approved by the NH House Finance Committee and
Constitutional Amendment proposed by Rep. Neal Kirk
to remove safety net of town welfare
&
John 3:16 versus Leviticus 4
&
calling on the NH Legislature
and the Governor
to spare those without a voice
those who need us
from the severe budget cuts
that are currently planned
in HB1 and HB2, etc.
&
in part based on the testimony
