Banding together
people of all nations
putting on love
to give these people hope

Offering aid, assistance
even though they were impoverished
remembering their past
only to generate more gifts

Coming to their comfort
in this time of need
acting in love even when
we do not understand

Nature in its fury
unleashing an earthquake
love the response
that shows the world
the true face of God
