God the Father and the Son
willing to sacrifice
Christ descending to the earth
to save us from our sin

Walking with us
as a man, made of claim
understanding our lives
showing us a better way

Righteous before God
submitting to his will
the unblemished lamb
going to the cross

The father giving the son
because of his love for us
by the grace of his sacrifice
we are brought home again
