More to Tell Us by Raymond A. Foss

So much more to tell us
than when he walked the earth
the disciples not ready
needing power from above

More to tell us
when the Spirit comes
preparing our hearts for God’s message
the depths of his love

Sharing more of God
the meaning of Christ coming down
the endless grace represented
by his sacrifice on the cross

Only through that spirit
truly do we know the son
through his strong teachings
knowing the father,
the three as one
