Because of our deafness
the chaos of the earth
our busy lives full
failing to hear the small voice

Wisdom shouting to us
that we might hear
a glimpse of the love of God
speaking loud and clear

Calling to us from the past
the future yet to come
eternal like the trinity
teach us, at least impart
a vision of the three of them
that we might know God
