The mystery of God’s coming
His purpose, His plan
God coming to earth, humbly
humbly, in flesh, as a child
vulnerable and human
made of the stuff of earth
emptied of his holiness
to walk this troubled world

God knowing us better
than we know ourselves
that we are unable
to fulfill his call to righteousness
needing our Savior
the priest, the lamb
offering himself one time
to redeem us all to God
