A Light Over the Waters by Raymond A. Foss
The seas of change boiling
agents of revolution
the chains of oppression
broken, being cast off

A light over the waters
the love of Jesus
able to heal the world
to end our brokenness

We much be light
sharing the good news
the truth of his power
his power to heal

All of us unworthy
caught up in the maelstrom
the chaos of sin
the horsemen at full gait

We must stand
turning our lives to Jesus
submitting our will
to his loving hand

Answering the call of Jesus
to be salt of the earth
witnesses of his power
light to the whole world
